Privacy Policy

The short version

• Audio from your calls never leaves your computer. Speech is turned into text on your own device.
• There are no accounts. We do not ask for your name or email, and we do not store them.
• Text sent to us is used to produce your answer and is not stored.
• We keep bare usage records: times, counts and outcomes tied to your subscription, never the content of your conversations.
• Payments and billing details are handled by our payment provider, under their own privacy policy.

What stays on your device

The app listens to your microphone and to the call audio, and turns speech into text on your own computer. The audio itself is never uploaded anywhere.

Your subscription key is saved on your device, where only your own user account can reach it. The app does not use advertising identifiers.

What our servers process

To help you during a call, the app sends small pieces of the conversation to us as text: enough to notice when a question was asked, and, when an answer is needed, the material for that answer. That can include what was said, what you typed, and a screenshot if you chose to take one. What other people say in your meeting is part of that text and is treated exactly the same way. It is your responsibility to make sure using an assistant on a call is appropriate in your situation.

All of this travels over an encrypted connection and is held only for as long as it takes to produce your answer. We never keep conversation content, screenshots, or answers. We cannot show you a history of your past requests, because we do not have one.

Like nearly every online product, we rely on established infrastructure providers to run the service. They handle this data on our behalf, under contracts that limit what they may do with it.

What our servers keep

Each request is recorded in a usage log. A record holds the time, an internal reference for your subscription, your IP address, the app version, and basic facts about the outcome: whether it worked, how long it took, how much of your plan it used, and whether a screenshot was included. The content of your conversation is never part of these records.

We use these records to bill correctly, enforce fair-use limits, prevent abuse, and keep the service running well.

How long we keep them:

• IP addresses are erased from usage records after 30 days.
• The usage records themselves are deleted after 12 months.
• Running usage totals per subscription, which are numbers only, are kept for accounting and cost control.

Your subscription key

Your subscription key is your sign-in. We never store the key itself. We store it in a form that lets us check your key but cannot be read back. Usage records are tied to that, not to your name, because we do not have your name.

To confirm your subscription is active, the key is checked with the payment provider that issued it. We also keep a small note of whether a subscription is active and which plan it is on, and that note is deleted 90 days after it was last needed.

Payments

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, who is the seller of record. Your name, email, and payment details are collected and kept by them, under their own privacy policy. We learn only whether a subscription is active, which plan it is on, and an internal customer reference. We never receive or store your name, email, or payment details.

This website

Our website sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. If you contact support, we see your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to help you, and we do not add it to any list.

The pages load their fonts from a font hosting service, which sees your device's address when it serves them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top.
